Professional barista training - 1 day

TRAINING OBJECTIVES: 

Training in the basics of the barista profession - Learning technical and sensory skills.

  • Acquire the basic technical skills of the profession,
  • Learn essential professional skills,
  • Understanding hygiene and safety standards,
  • Develop a sense of customer service.

THE TRAINING PROGRAM: 

Espresso Extraction and Milk-Based Drinks

  • Identify the main origins, varieties and processing methods of coffee.
  •  Adjusting a grinder,
  •  Diagnose and correct under- or over- espresso extraction based on sensory and visual cues.
  • Texture the milk to obtain a micro-foam suitable for milk-based drinks.
  • Create basic latte art designs (heart, tulip, simplified rosetta).

Hygiene, maintenance & service

  • Apply hygiene protocols.
  • Perform daily and weekly maintenance on an espresso machine and grinder.
  • Organize the workstation and interact with customers in a professional and educational manner.
